Generic
name: Bisolvon, Barkacin
Description
Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent. It is used to treat respiratory disorders
linked with viscid or excessive mucus. It is secretolytic. This means that
it increases the production of serous mucus in the respiratory tract and
makes the phlegm less sticky and thinner. This lead to secretomotoric
effect. This helps the cilia transport the phlegm out of the lungs. Cilia
